A little bit about us.
Operation Be Hopeful...
...was organized by a group of young people in 2004 to support Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer
Fund when a close friend was diagnosed with leukemia.
...raises money for the Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund, based at Morgan
Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian (Columbia University Medical Center)
in New York City.
...sells merchandise to raise money and awareness about Leukemia and other cancers
(products below).
...also has raised money in other ways, including: school events, The American Cancer
Society's Relay For Life, and fundraisers that have taken place in Temple Israel of New
Rochelle (one of our community's temples).
...has also relied on our community to spread the word about Operation Be Hopeful and
things that can be done to help find a cure for cancer.
...gives a special thanks to everyone who has donated to the Hope and Heroes Children's
Cancer Fund or has spread the word.
In 2008, the girls who founded Operation Be Hopeful graduated high school and will be parting to different states in college. But they will always keep OBH close to their hearts and will continue to stay involved in Hope and Heroes' Fundraisers and other events. Childhood cancer is still a problem and donations to help the cause are always accepted. Thank you very much for your support of our organization! |
